It was late in the night, and Sarriss couldn't sleep. She had put a flower in dark hair...a rose... a white one... She was looking at her room, with an absent expression in her eyes. A small headache came to her head, she held her head in her hands. When it finished, she stood up, the light was still off. Sarriss walked to the door, as she picked the small dagger, shining under the moonlight.

She opened the door, and silently closed it after having walked through it. She looked at the corridors, long, and full filled with students room. Her gaze focused on room, far from her; it has been occupied only for this night. Inside, was the president from Esthar, he was resting there until the morning will come. She started to walk slowly, without making any noise... there was noone but her awaken, at this time... maybe about 3 o'clock a.m. ...

Sarriss: +thinks: There it is...+

She softly opened the door, and let herself inside the room. She wasn't fearing anything, she could see through the darkness... "he" will be the first to feel her new power, her rebirth as a powerful human, who don't fear anything...

Sarriss: +whispers+ Prepare yourself...

The room was lighted by the moon's rays, and Sarriss walked slowly to a large bed, where a body was lying. It was him, Laguna... She got closer to him, holding firmly the small knife in her right hand.

the girl slowly leaned over him, while her left hand was approaching the man's neck.

But one of her rose's petal, fell down on his face, and awoke him.

Laguna: +low+ S... Sarriss...?? What are you doing here?

Her pendant was hanging over his face, it was strangely shining. Sarriss quickly grabbed his neck, and began to shake it as hard as she could.

Laguna: +having troubles to breath+ W... what are you doing!?

Sarriss: +smiles cruelly, and speaks sofly+ You see Mr. president... I don't fear anything anymore...

She raised her other hand and let him show in horror the diamond dagger.

Laguna: S... Sarriss!! What wrong with you?!

Sarriss: Nothing, as you could see... I'm just... powerful...

Laguna: +tries to get away from him Sarriss left hand and hold back her other hand, cries+ Sarriss!!! What have you done to yourself?!!!

Sarriss: +upset+ Stop yelling in my face! They could hear you ! +pushes all her strength in her right hand+ Now... get ready to feel the coldness of the other world ...!

Voice: +yells+ STOP!!!

Sarriss: +turns to see the person+ Huh?

Someone ran into her and made her fell on the bed, as Sarriss throws away her knife. Laguna quickly got up and got out of the room, calling for others help.

On the bed, Sarriss was trying to get away from this person arms who were holding her.

Squall: Sarriss!

Sarriss: +tries to struggle in Squall's arms+ Leave me alone!

Squall: Sarriss, what the hell are you doing!?

Sarriss: +kicks him hardly with her knee, shout+ Get away from me!!

The brown haired girl kicked him so hard that Squall see himself ditched violently against the bedroom's wall. Sarriss quickly jumped back on her feet, on the other side of the wall, and picked her dagger and got off the room. Squall tried to hold her back by her coat.

Squall: +holds her by her coat+ You're not getting away like this!

Sarriss: +speedily turns and hit him gravely with the white weapon on his chest+ Don't touch me!!!

Squall screamed in pain and fell on the ground, blood was falling from his chest, through his shirt. The girl has done a fine job with him... a large blow, on all the chest...

She ran off the room, hitting him once more with her fist on his back.

Sarriss: This is for having disturbing me!

She looked at the two sides of the corridors: from the left corner was coming Quistis, Zell and Irvine. And from the right path, Seifer, Rinoa and Selphie were running to her.

Sarriss: +thinks: Cursed are them!+

She began to run, but Laguna tried to hold her back.

Laguna: Sarriss! What's wrong with you!?

She threw her elbows in his chest, forcing him to let her go. He fell down on his knees.

Sarriss: +looking at him+ Humph... you're WEAK!

All: Sarriss!!!

Sarriss ran to her room, where she quickly locked herself in. She opened her drawers and took with her, her two G-forces. On the other side of the door, the group was trying to open the door.

Zell: Open up Sarriss!

Sarriss: +yells+ No way!! In your dreams Chicken-Wuss!

Zell: +gets angry+ WHAT?!!!!

Sarriss: ...

She put the diamond at her belt and picked up

Seifer: Open or ... I'll smash in the door!!

Sarriss has kept walking during all this time, and arrived since some time already, in the city of Balamb. She was walking nervously and angrily from the train station to the port... it was about 5:30 a.m.

Sarriss: +angry+ WHAT?! No ships nor trains will be up 'til 7!!??

Man: I'm sorry Miss... but drivers must also rest, you know...

Sarriss: +looking straightly at him+ Look at me... look at the time... Am I resting?

Man: Hum... +scared+ no...

Sarriss: Would you please stop with all the "Ho, we can help you!", or the "We're you friends, remember?" stuff? The ancient Sarriss has died, and I replace her.

Zell: You're just a simple puppet without any mind.

Sarriss: +smiles+ You're trying to get me angry, aren't you? Well have a taste of Pallas!

Quistis: Pallas?! Who's that?

Sarriss: Heaven's holy goddess!!

Sarriss put her gunblade on the ground and crossed her hands on her chest, closing her eyes. Then she opened them and throw her hands on the sides, and disappear.

Zell: +yells+ Be ready!

Among the clouds in the sky, there's a throne. Sitting on the throne is a Goddess wearing a helm, holding a spear. She raised the spear a little bit and let it touched by the sun's ray. The light reflected on the lance and went down, piercing the clouds. The light came from the clouds and passed over Zell, Quistis and Seifer. The light was hitting them hardly. Then it disappear, making Sarriss reappearing.

The three were half down. Sarriss smiled.

Sarriss: Well, well... how was it? Didn't you like my holy guardian? I've also got another, you know...

Quistis: +breaths+ Sarriss, ... please stop...

Sarriss: Right now? No... it's just getting started.

Quistis: +hardly stands up+ Well then... take this... : Ultima!

The green explosion grew around the girl and wounded her... but she wasn't yet down.

Sarriss: +bored+ Come on! Is that the best you can do?

Then Seifer came quickly near her and hit her with his new gunblade. She tried to protect herself but got her left hand hit. Blood started to fell down her wrist and fingers.

Sarriss: You know Seifer... this gunblade you gave me seems really good, even if I didn't use it... but it's heavy...

Seifer: Well just give her back to me!

Sarriss: Very funny! +silence+ I still can't believe that I've fall in love with you... such a miserable guy...

Zell ran to her and hit her with several "My final Heaven", when it's ended, the girl was on her knees...

She began to take the petals, one by one, saying "I love you... I love you not..." and after saying something, she threw the petal at the three, which transformed into a petal's gust, who were cutting their skin. Sarriss then broke the stem in three parts, and threw them in the sky...

Some seconds passed, then wooden arrows fell down on them. Sarriss smiled, and came near Seifer, who was lying down... like the two others.

Sarriss: You're Weak... like I used to be... +kneels down+ The old Sarriss has maybe loved you... but I'm different from her... I only love power... +stands up+ AND roses... +throws a white rose at him+

The brown haired girl walked away, as she cast a Curaga spell on her. She went back to the port and saw the same man than before.

Sarriss: Well hello again...

Man: +nervously+ We've found you a ship Miss...

Sarriss: Alright, +hand over her pendant+ take this... +falls down on her knees, unable to breath+ ... huh... huh...

Man: Is everything okay?

Sarriss: +puts the pendant backs at her neck, and takes a deep breath+ Yeah. +throws Gils on the table+ Here you are...

Man: +looks at the money, and thinks: Wow! I'm glad to have bring her a boat! Now I can live happily again!+ Hum... Where do you want to go?

Sarriss: +seems absent, looking away+ Well... I must head for Deiling city.

Man: Sure Miss! You can hop aboard whenever you want to.

She took a last look at the three, then at the boat, where a driver was waiting for her.

Sarriss began to walk slowly to it, as the sun was heading above the sea, which made everything turn from red to orange...
