A young girl is looking at the stars, she is alone. In two days, there will be the Seed exam. She will go and make it, she has sworn it since she the day she has entered the building. So many years ago...

She turned and left for her bedroom.

Next morningShe woke up with the sun' rays. Sarriss looked everywhere and combed as everyday her soft hair. She was about to open her little window when someone knocked at the door.
Sarriss: Come in!
Shu entered the room. She was the instructor of the young girl.
Shu: My Sarriss, you're already done! Always the first in class and still the last to leave the lessons! I wish to have more students like you...
The student looked at herself: of course! She has slept with her days' clothes!
Sarriss:+confused+ Well... yeah...
Shu: Tomorrow is the field test. You're ready, aren't you?
Sarriss: I hope so...
Shu: Good ! Now, rest as long as you can before the exam. Today, is a free day! You don't have any lessons. Take care of yourself dear.
Sarriss: Thank you Miss Shu.
Shu left. The girl went back to the wall and opened brightly the window, letting the wind's fresh breath entering every corner of the place.
Sarriss:+looking at her weapon+ Well, how about some practice now?
Sarriss had a gunblade, like some rare people in the whole building. But she carried it with two hands, because it was too heavy for her. That's why she had a white leather glove on her right hand.
She picked up the weapon and looked at herself in the large mirror. She had long brown hair with dark eyes, she was wearing a long beige coat, white T-shirt and pants and black shoes.
She had to take care of herself, since her lost childhood. Without parents, without love...
Holding her gunblade, she got out of her bedroom and started to walk in the corridors. She could hear the sound of the falling water. Sarriss was looking at the ground, carrying the precious white thing near her heart. She was lost in her thoughts, as always...
When she bumped into someone, and fall down on her knees.
Sarriss:+looking at the ground+ I... I'm sorry...
Guy:+really angry+ Hey! What the heck...!
The brown haired girl hardly came back on her feet with her white weapon and look up...
Sarriss:+surprised and scarred+ Mister Seifer! I'm terribly sorry! I didn't mean to hit you!
Seifer knew that Sarriss was afraid of him, so that's why he liked to "play" with her and scare her more. He smiled back at her, with some ironic laugh.
Seifer: Of course you didn't ! He said as he was slowly walking around her. You just... BUMPED into me!!
Sarriss: I... I...
She quickly took her gunblade and ran off him.
Sarriss:+yelling at him+ I'm off!!!
Seifer:+laughing+ Yeah sure! You can run, Melford, but you can't hide! I will find you!!
When Sarriss stopped running, she has entered the training zone, inside the "jungle". She walked slowly inside the forest. A monster appear behind her.
Sarriss:+scarred+ Get away from me!
She slashed him in two with her weapon and, stopped.
Sarriss:+looking around+ Wow, it was only a small beast...
Suddenly, she felt bad, her blood was freezing.
Sarriss: I... I...+dropped her gunblade+
She fall on the ground, unconscious.

It's in the cafeteria, Shu is sitting at a table and Quistis comes with her. It's about 12 o'clock.
Shu: This building is so great
Quistis: Yeah, I think so too.
Shu: Have you seen Sarriss lately?
Quistis: The young girl you cared so much about?
Shu: Yes.+looking down+ I'm looking for her, but I couldn't find her anywhere...
Quistis: You worry too much about her ! She is a grown up now, she can take care of herself.
Shu: ...
Quistis: She's fine ! What do you want to happen to her?
Shu:+smiles+ You must be right after all, Quistis. Tomorrow, Sarriss will pass the Seed exam and...
Quistis smiles back at her friend.

In the corridors, Seifer walks with Fujin and Raijin behind him.
Seifer:+facing them+ Well guys! How about some practice?
Fujin: ...
Seifer:+smiles+Okay, let's go!
They go to the training area, and find themselves alone.
Seifer: Good ! Now we're alone, without any pinheads to disturb us!

Sarriss finally opens her eyes, she's still on the ground. She feels weak and strenghtless.
Her white weapon is far from her, she tried to get up but some evil plants have poisoned her leg while is was "asleep". She hears the cry of a strong beast, coming around.
Sarriss:+looking up+ Oh non... (ho no)

She gets up, even if her legs was painful, picks her weapon, but... The Tyranno is just in front of her !
Sarriss:+scarred+ Oh non!
The monster cries noisily, he comes just in front of her eyes.
Sarriss: Ne bouge pas Sarriss, ... ne bouge pas ! (do not move Sarriss, ... do not move !)
She starts to run among the trees, asking for help.
Sarriss:+pleading+ Help!!! Please help me!!!
Meanwhile, Seifer, Fujin and Raijin were fighting against some weak monsters, when...
Sarriss: Help!!!
Seifer:+turning at the two+ Did you guys heard something ?
Sarriss:+louder+Please help!!!!
Raijin: Yup.
Seifer closes his eyes, and concentrate on the voice. ... Has he realize that it was this scarred girl's voice... ?
Seifer:+shakes his weapon harder in his hands+ You two wait here!
He ran in the direction of Sarriss' cries for help. Sarriss was still running, trying to escape from the dinosaur. But she was looking in front of her and stumbled over smalls rocks. She fall down, throwing her gunblade away, in the cold water. She tried to get up once more, but she couldn't... her leg has been poisoned too much. She couldn't even not take out her white rose, to cast her limit break. She hardly turned on the other side and face the Tyrannosaurus. At last she could see it... at last she could feel it's coldness... she was facing in horror the bright scythe of Death...
She preferred to close her eyes, and do not see how she was going to be eaten. The beast came nearer to her, with it's twinkling happy eyes. It opened it's mouth... and Sarriss heard the sound of a slashing sword ! The monster yelled in despair, falling down into the forest, among the trees.
Seifer:+trying to speak nicely+ Get up.
She gets up and looked at him.
Sarriss:+scarred+ T... thank you...
Seifer smiled.
Sarriss: Why did you save me ?
Seifer: Don't ask.+regain "evil"+ It won't happen twice !
The girl got nearer to the water and looks at her lost gunblade.
Sarriss:+sad+ Now it's hopeless...
He gets near to her.
Sarriss: It won't work anymore...
Seifer looks at her and hands over her his weapon.
Seifer: Here.
Sarriss: What?!
Seifer: Take it. It's yours know.
Sarriss:+giving back the gunblade+ But I...! How will you fight if you don't have any weapons?!
Seifer: I'll find myself another. Now take it.
Sarriss: No, I can't!
Seifer:+getting angry+ YOU'RE GONNA TAKE IT AND YOU DON'T HAVE ANYTHING ELSE TO SAY !!!
Sarriss:+scarred+ Well... okay...

Sarriss smiles back at him. Seifer turned and began to walk back to his friends.
Sarriss:+runs to him+ Wait!
Seifer:+stops walking+ What else now?
She's holding the weapon Seifer has given her, and gets out from her coat a beautiful white rose.
Sarriss:+giving him the flower+ Please take it. That was the most important thing to me.+showing the gunblade+ Now I've found something more important !
Sarriss smiles but it seems like Seifer did not understand what she meant to say.
Sarriss: I'm glad... to have meet you... Seifer...
Seifer: ...
He tried to smile, but his nasty expression came back on his face. He took a last look at her, hide the rose in his coat, and slowly walk away from the girl.
Raijin: Seifer ! You're back !+looking strangely at him+ Hey... didn't you have a weapon before?

Sarriss got out of the training area, still a bit shocked. She was holding the Hyperion, Seifer's weapon, near her heart. It was long and heavy but she didn't care about that; she felt happiness trough her heart and this strange meeting has done something special to her. While walking in the corridors, she met Irvine and Quistis, talking together.
Quistis: Hi Sarriss !
Sarriss: Hello Miss Quistis !+sees Irvine+ Oh, is this a friend of yours?
Quistis: Yes it is. It's...
Irvine cut Quistis and came in front of Sarriss. He takes her hand, and kiss it. Sarriss and Quistis go a bit red.
Irvine: I'm Irvine Kinneas. It's a pleasure to meet you, young lady.
Sarriss:+amused+ +thinks: Wow ! This guy does not lose a second!+ Nice to meet you. I'm Sarriss, Sarriss Melford.

Sarriss: Being chase by the Tyranno has nothing funny, you know.+reminds the story+ Eek! I prefer to do not think of it again!

The two girls leaves their friend alone. Sarriss turns the light off and goes to the window.
