"Yay! We made it to the ranch!...and about time also...Cloud and the other 2 are catching up." Scarlet said running up the ranch at full speed.
"About time- Uuuuh I think we spoke to soon look whose kid is riding that chocobo." Palmer said in a squeaky voice at-once he saw Marlene having lots of fun riding one of the Blue chocobo's.
"WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE this is so much fuuuuuuuuun!" Yelled Marlene, then she decided she wanted to ride the Gold chocobo this time. " I want to ride Goldy, Daddy!"
"Alrigh, then lets get off Blu and put you on Goldy then." Barret raised his daughter up and put her on the Gold chocobo. While Barret is putting his daughter on the Chocobo he turned around and saw Palmer, Scarlet, and Heid. "Hey what you doin' here?" Barret said angrily.
"Well uuuuh uuum-" Palmer began but couldnt get any words out.
"We came to get a chocobo for your information." Scarlet said bravely but her voice was a little shaky since she was messing with a guy with a gun for a hand.
"Well you came to the right place." Barret said a little more happily.
"Huh?" All three of them said in confusion.
"You can't get the one inside the farm, they belong to Cloud, but these ones out here are just fine." Barret points out to the normal chocobo's "That'll be 100 gil for each chocobo."
"Uuuuuuh uuuuuuum I guess so...uuuuum does anybody have 300 gil?" Palmer starts searching his pocket.
"You work here?" Scarlet said shocked at the fact that Barret is working at a chocobo farm.
"Well not exactly work, I live here. I'm liven' here couse Marlene like chocobo's." Barret said happily and looks at Marlene who smiles back at her father. "And in exanchage for livin' here I have to help out at takin' care of all these here chocobo's."
"Well uuuum uuuuh like I said before...Does anybody have 300 gil?" Palmer asked again.
"I only have 150 gil." Heid had started counting the amount of gil he has and starts looking for more of it in his pocket.
"I only have 100." Scarlet said.
"Can't we just steal the chocobo's Palmer said looking thru his pockets.
"We could if we had a giant robot, Palmer. And we cant force him to give us some chocobo's couse couse he's huge and strong and has a gigantic gun on his hand." Heid was still looking for gil in his pocket.
"We just need 50." Scarlet said looking thru her purse.
"You still have to contribute Palmer." Heid said looking at Palmer.
"Well I have....300! But I'll give you 50 since that all we need left." Palmer said happily.
"HEY!!" Scarlet snatches the 300 gil that Palmer has in his hand and then gives it to Barret. And then she takes out a couple of seeds or whatever their called and goes over to the colored chocobo's
"They look sooooooooo adorable!! I'm going to give them some food! KYAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!" Scarlet's laugh echoes.
"KYAHAHAHAHA KYAHAHAHAHAHAHA" Everybody looks at Scarlet and back away from her.
"She scares me." Barrest whispers to both Palmer and Heid. and they both nod in agreement.
Scarlet gives the chocobo's the seeds they were rather green looking. All the multicolored chocobo's eat it and swallow it then they stick their tongue out in disgust and go drink some water.
'Stupid chocobo's...' Scarlet thought as she walked back to the others. "Alright we'll be taking the chocobo's now and be heading our way." Scarlet grabs the chocobo's in the fence and tries to get on them but slips and falls on her butt. "OW!" She gets up and starts rubbing her rear end. "WHAT ARE YOU TWO DOING!!!! HELP ME GET ON THAT CHOCOBO!!"
"Uuuuh yes ma'am" Both Heid and Palmer say and try to get her the chocobo by boosting her up.
"Damn ,she's heavy...OW!" Heid gets hit on the head by Scarlets shoe.
"I HEARD THAT!!!!" Scarlet miraculously gets on the chocobo. And then chocobo starts bending it legs singnaling that Scarlet is heavy.
"Gyeheheh" Heid laughs silently and gets on his chocobo and so does Palmer.
"Well anyways thanks fo' the buisness and cume back again." Barret greedily starts counting the money. 'Heheh nowadays chocobo's cost 50 gil not 100 heheh I kinda got 'em back by ripin' them off.'
The three take off towards the swamp where that giant snake thing is. (I forgot what it was called...its been awhile since I played the game)
To where the Cloud and freinds are...
"Are you done resting Cloud? I bet Palmer, Scarlet and Heidegger is already at the Swamp!" Tifa was taping her showing that she was impatient.
"Cant we just leave Cloud behind?" Red XIII said who was also impatient.
"NO! I dont wanna be bymyself! Lets go!" Cloud immediatly gets up and they all start going again.
"HEY! I see the farm now YAY!" Red XIII starts cheering.
And again back to the farm...
"HEY BARRET!" Tifa yells happilly that she gets to see one of her freinds again.
"Hey its Tifa!" Marlene points towards the three running towards them. You could also see that Marlene had tear stains on her cheeks.
"Hey why's Marlene cryin'?" Cloud asks as they close in to both Barret and Marlene.
"WAAAAAAAH!!!! GOLDIES DEAD!!" Shouted out Marlene as she points towards the multi colored chocobo's who were twitching like crazy....they kinda of looked like they were have a seizure. "I was riding them and they fell down and started moving alot! *sniff sniff*" Marlene takes off crying and goes insinde the house you could hear her crying and screaming a mile away.
"Is Zacky dead also?" Tifa asks hopefully.
"No." Replies Barret...he seems rather dissapointed as well.
"Damn." Mutters Tifa as deep and silent as possible.
"Whats so wrong about Zacky?...and where is he anyways?" Cloud asks with one of his most questionable looks on his face.
"That pink chocobo? Its in the barn...Marlene also seems ta hate that chocobo as well." Barret looks back into the barn.
"What's wrong with him is that he's pink and is named Zacky and was breeded by Aeris." Mutters Red XIII so almost only a couple of people could hear.
"That is sooooooooo right." Tifa whispers back to Red XIII in agreement.
"Oh and by the way was Palmer,Scarlet and Heidegger here just a while ago?" Red XIII asks Barret.
"Oh them? Yea they waz here...heheh ripped them off 150gil." Barret said proudly and then pats his pocket where the money is.
"Y-y-you gave them the some chocobo's?" Tifa asks wearily. "How long ago...?"
"5hrs ago....why?" Barret asks getting a worried look on his face.
"That means that that that were stuck here..." Red XIII says looking at the road towards the swamp and flops down on the ground.
"Were not stuck here...We got Zacky." Cloud replies who was turned back at the barn this whole time.
"What!!!!" Everyone says in unision. ('cept Cloud...Duh)
