Prologue

Sephiroth returns to seek revenge on on Cloud, as well as attempt to continue on the quest Jenova had imposed on him. But what if the past comes back to haunt him in more ways than one? Will he still seek to follow that path, even when he discoveres the truth about himself?

What if there was another person, who was now following in Sephiroth's destructive footsteps? Cloud and the others members of Avalanche now find that the only one who could ever truly put a stop to this madness is the one they thought was their enemy. They now find themselves turning to Sephiroth to solve the strange murder cases and put an end to this new madness before more suffer.

Those who were thought to be dead are in fact very much alive, and an old evil has returned to seek revenge. Avalanche now finds themselves on the hot spot, and the only way out is to accept the aid of a new group of fighters led by the unlikelest of leaders, who knows all too well the treat and the pain the Cloud had gone through.
